Description from Yoichi Takahashi 16th July 2006
Boeing JETFOIL
The hydrofoil control system is an original design that uses a small gyro. After some difficulties, the model achieved foil-borne flight.
To start with, the hydrofoil was propellor-driven. Then a micro water jet pump was installed and the model achieved foilborn flight using the water jet reaction as thrust, as in the full-scale Jetfoils.
