I was leading Fire Controlman/ Combat Sys Divo on the Gemini from 1990 to Decom. I'm retired now. Firing on the fly pic is usually hard to come by. Makes a cool picture but flying at 40+ knots and at 40 rounds per minute with barrel cooling on sure made a mess. That black crap would not scrub off. Had to repaint the superstructure.
